Gorilla Safari

Exclusive Tanzania

Few wildlife experiences evoke stronger emotion than witnessing the Great Migration of Africa's Rift Valley. This epic drama has been unfolding year after year since the dawn of time, and it is one of the most sought after spectacles on earth for travelers with adventurous spirits.

Now, WinWin Vacations can offer you a very special itinerary designed specifically to coincide with the Great Migration.

Wildebeest and zebra, many with newborn calves, grazing in the Serengeti as far as the eyes can see. There were also huge herds of Thompsonís & Grantís gazelle, topi and giraffe; plus hundreds of lion.

Please check for more of my Great Migration pictures from my trip this past February 2005 to Kenya & Tanzania: My pictures are located under Photo Album on my website at

The 13-day safari features some of East Africa's most spectacular wildlife ecosystems, including:

Arusha National Park, where guests have the opportunity to see the beautiful black & white Colobus monkey

Tarangire National Park with its great Baobab trees, lions, and herds of elephants

Ngorongoro Crater - one of the true wonders of the world

And finally the Serengeti - the cradle and epicenter of the Great Migration itself

Each is rich in its diversity of wildlife and flora, and each presents a unique insight and perspective for their fortunate guests.

Camps and Renowned Service
As you would expect only the finest available accommodations are used for you, our guests.

In addition to the acclaimed Oliver's Camp in Tarangire National

Park and Ngorongoro Farm House on the foothills of Ngorongoro Crater this exclusive safari itinerary feature Sayari Camp Ė a brand new, luxury, seasonal camp designed especially to follow the Great Migration into the Serengeti. Of course, guests are treated to the legendary personal service that defines a true safari.

Oliver's Camp is a luxury safari camp offering accommodation in only 5 tents, giving you the privacy you need with Mother Nature to ensure the feeling of absolute exclusivity. Solid wooden furniture, beautiful cloth and practical en-suite facilities are expertly maintained in each of the 5 sleeping tents at this luxury safari camp in Tanzania. The staff at this luxury safari camp is some of the friendliest people you will meet anywhere and always welcome you with a smile and open hearted hospitality. The aim is to make your visit very personal and a totally new experience for you. The focal point of this luxury safari camp in Tanzania is the stone fireplace which is close to the library, sitting and dining tents. From here the views are superb.

Our fireplace is the spot for evening drinks and stories  A twin bedded tent

There is no better forum for relaxed conversation and animated reflection on the dayís activities, and no safari is complete without such an experience. As guides some of our best memories are from the fireside, and as guests many of yours will be too.

Ngorongoro Farm House is an exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano, in Ololdukan, a 500 acre coffee farm located only 4 km from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Lolduare gate. Ngorongoro Farm House provides an original experience reminiscent of the atmosphere of old days. Three separate and intimate camps of 9 comfortable bungalows each unit, attractively built on the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials, full of details of good taste, with the purpose of offering our guests an imaginary journey to days of the past.

The huge main building, covered with an elegant thatched roof, contains the reception, bar, dining area, library and lounge with a fireplace where guests can enjoy a rest during the cool evenings in the highlands. Guest areas are completed by a swimming pool with superb views of Oldeani Volcano and a craft shop.

There is an organic vegetable and flower garden that covers some acres. Guests can enjoy an excellent home made cuisine using the dairy and fresh vegetables produce by the farm all year around.

Into the Serengeti via Sayari Camp

There is no better way to see the nature of Africa than to immerse yourself directly in it, and that is what Sayari is: An immersion in African nature.

From late January to April, Sayari Camp - showcasing the vast plains and endless skies in which the camp is immersed - is located in Piaya in the southern plains of the Serengeti where guests have the chance to experience the wildebeest calving season.

The camp is then moved to the Mara River area from June to September to coincide with the migration moving across the Mara River, and then finally relocated to Soit Sambu in the northeastern part of the Serengeti from October to mid-January, as the migration moves out of the Mara and back into the Serengeti. All sites for Sayari Camp are located near the border of the national park, allowing for the unique combination of premier wildlife viewing, walking safaris, and interaction with local cultures.

With an altitude higher than that of most of Europe, the temperature in the Serengeti varies, with generally hot afternoons and an occasionally chilly evening from June to October. The rainy season is in April and May during which time the camp is closed.

Lion and cheetah mix with over a million migratory animals to share space with you. The camp delivers miles of breathtaking African nature in all directions along with many creature comforts right in the middle of the bush.

Eight comfortable guest tents equipped with large beds and spacious bathrooms await you, as does a lounge and dining area with an unbelievable view of Africa as you eat or simply relax.

Together with amicable conversation, fine food and drink, Sayari exceeds every expectation of the African wilderness.

Sayari offers you a highly exclusive Serengeti experience. Game drives, wilderness walks and fly camping give you the majestic feeling of having the endless space all for yourself. Walks can give you the chance to be in touch with the traditional people of the area and can last from a few hours up to a full day. Fly camping is a freedom of movement that allows you to track the adventure as it unfolds, whilst sleeping under the stars.
